Our 2 modern cosy cottages in West Cumbria in the UNESCO world heritage Lake District. We feel in love with the Lake District many years ago and since moving here are focused on visitors looking for a property that makes them feel at home. Our 2 bedroom cottages are located in the national park so perfect if wanting to experience the fells, tick off some Wainwrights or just get out in nature. Traditional cottages filled with charm, homely personal touches and designed for modern living. If you're searching for a fully equipped space where you can relax in comfort, after a day exploring then, you have come to the right place.

Character sandstone cottage rural location, with unspoilt views to the fells.
Secluded rear garden filled with flowers, wildlife and uninterrupted mountain views to Wasdale.
Comfortably sleeps up to 4 plus infant.

Boutique inspired cottage village location with doorstep amenities ideal for a car free break.
Recently renovated to maintain its cottage charm but with modern features

Pets considered with welcome basket & bed provided for dog stays!

What We offer
At Cosy Cottage in the Lakes you’ll find all the amenities you need for an enjoyable, comfortable stay. We’ve made sure that all the important stuff, along with the little details, are taken care of. We can also help with those little extras if staying for a special occasion. Being local we can assist with recommendations for things to do, places to eat, transport and local walks.
We also offer a small menu of home cooked Jamaican meals made by us which we can deliver or leave for your arrival
